About Us

Welcome to Medway Towns Rowing Club

Based in Rochester and established in 1865, Medway Towns Rowing Club is an inclusive and ambitious club on the River Medway.

We offer opportunities for all – from Learn to Row courses for beginners to our Junior, Senior, and Masters squads competing at every level. Alongside performance rowing, we have a strong recreational and social community, making the club a place to connect as well as compete.

Members also enjoy access to our fully equipped gym, with flexible opening hours to support training both on and off the water.

At MTRC, we are proud to combine history with progress, supporting rowers of all ages, abilities, and ambitions.
