Bedford Autumn Head 2025

What a fantastic day of racing for Medway Towns Rowing Club at Bedford Autumn Head!

With 22 entries and 5 wins, our crews put in a brilliant display of strength, skill, and spirit. 

5 winnings crews:

 Mixed 2x – Charlotte and Henry:

A stunning row — technically superb from start to finish. They absolutely smashed it, looking calm, powerful, and perfectly in sync the whole way down the course.

MasB 1x – Ruta:

Captain’s privilege or fear of being outperformed by the juniors… either way, a win’s a win.

Ex2x – Shaun and Ralph:

As always, a masterclass in calm, controlled, and efficient rowing. 

E4x – Shaun’s Ralph Rod and Chris

Crew won comfortably, looking smooth, strong, and composed throughout. 

F2x – Chris and Rod:

Years of rowing experience made this one look effortless. 

And some other very near winning crews were, J13 2x – Erika and Harriet with

a brilliant effort from our young rowers, taking 2nd place while racing up in the J15 category. A fantastic result and a glimpse of exciting things to come!

And MasE 2x – Robin and Mark. A strong and determined race, earning second place in a competitive field.

Overall, it was great day for MTRC — from our youngest juniors to our most experienced masters, everyone gave it their all.
