Twickenham Regatta

Shaun Martin and Michael Russell, Medway's IM3 Double Scull pairing, went upriver to the Twickenham Regatta and returned home spectacular winners with victories over Oxford Academicals and Cygnet. In the semi final against Oxford A's, Shaun and Michael won with the verdict given as easily in a very fast small boats time of 4min 50sec. In the final against Cygnet, the winning margin was again recorded as easily but on this occasion, no time was taken. Twickenham is a first class regatta and this result was very rewarding for the amount of time Shaun and Michael put into training.
